In the U.S., a street-legal golf cart is a low-speed vehicle (LSV). It's built with the safety equipment federal rules require and has a top speed of up to 25 mph. Most states also require registration, insurance and a driver's license, and many allow LSVs on roads with speed limits up to 35 mph. Rules vary by state and city, so check yours before you drive.

Not often any more do you find a business that just wants to do right by their desperate customer with kindness and support. My golf cart had not been charged while I was sick for a 3 week time frame. I called Nationwide Golf Carts and spoke to Diane. She was quick to say yes come in and even understood I needed my cart the next day. The job was done in record time and I couldn't be happier. I need my cart for work so it was imperative I drove off today with it and it happened! Everyone was so helpful, efficient and treated me with kindness and a desire to get me back to work. I can't thank everyone who refreshed the batteries and updated fuses and wires enough. I've found my place to care for my cart! I'll be back! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We enjoyed our weekend our new to us golf car from this fantastic family owned business! From the selling us the golf car to delivery was very smooth. You can tell they want their customers to leave happy. We went in with a budget and they worked with us and we were riding in three days. Upon delivery we were given detailed instructions on the ins and outs of our new campground ride. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search.

How much does a 6-seater golf cart cost?

Our new 6-seaters range from $8,595 to $16,099, and half are priced at $11,995 or less. 11 of them cost $10,000 or less. Delivery, taxes and registration are quoted separately.

Should I buy a 6-seater or a 4-seater?

Choose a 6-seater if you often carry five or six people, such as a big family, guests or rental customers. A 4-seater is shorter, easier to park and usually costs less.

What is the difference between 6 forward-facing and 4+2?

A 6 forward-facing cart has three rows that all face the road. A 4+2 has two forward rows and a rear-facing flip seat for two that folds into a cargo deck.

Are 6-seater golf carts street legal?
