Buyers in Europe, Asia and beyond often find the widest choice of new golf carts in the U.S.: current models, more trims and colors, and brands that are hard to find locally. We are a U.S. supplier and export partner, and we ship new carts from Club Car, E-Z-GO, Evolution, STAR EV, Denago and Cushman. This guide walks you through how buying from the U.S. and shipping abroad works, what it costs and what to check before you order.

How it works, step by step

  1. Request a quote. Tell us the carts, quantity and delivery address. We quote the carts, freight, insurance and door delivery.
  2. Confirm your specification. We confirm models, colors, charger voltage and what your country requires before you order.
  3. Pay by bank wire. Once you approve the written quote, you pay by bank wire transfer.
  4. We prepare and document. Carts are inspected, secured for transit and shipped with a full set of export documents.
  5. Ocean shipping. Your carts travel by container or RoRo vessel to the destination port.
  6. Delivered to your door. After customs clearance, our local delivery partner brings the carts to your address.

The export documents you receive

Every export ships with the paperwork your customs broker and local authorities need:

  • Commercial invoice: the value and details of the goods
  • Packing list: the contents of each shipment
  • Bill of lading: the carrier's receipt and title document
  • Certificate of origin: the country where the carts were made
  • Manufacturer's certificate of origin: the cart's original factory document
  • Cargo insurance: available on request for the full journey

What to check in your country before you order

  • Duties and taxes. Import duty and VAT or GST depend on your country. We confirm what applies and how it is handled in your quote.
  • Road use. A cart sold street legal in the U.S. is not automatically road legal abroad. Check your local registration rules before you plan to drive on public roads. Our street-legal guide explains the U.S. rules.
  • Charger and voltage. U.S. chargers use 110 to 120V. Many countries use 220 to 240V, so we confirm the right charger or adapter for your market. See golf cart chargers and voltage for export.
  • Lithium batteries. Lithium batteries are regulated as dangerous goods for shipping. We prepare them to carrier requirements so your shipment moves smoothly.
  • Import paperwork. Some countries need import permits or homologation documents. Your customs broker uses the export documents we supply.
  • Delivery access. Tell us about gates, steps or narrow streets at your address so our local partner brings the right equipment.

What it costs to import a golf cart

Your total landed cost has five parts:

  • The cart. Our new carts currently start at $3,800 and half are priced at $9,995 or less. See how much a golf cart costs.
  • Ocean freight. Quoted per destination, based on method, port and number of carts.
  • Cargo insurance. Optional, and recommended for the sea journey.
  • Import duty and VAT or GST. Set by your country.
  • Customs clearance and door delivery. Handled through our local partner and your customs broker.

Where we ship

Recent export destinations include the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland and Singapore. Shipping somewhere else? Ask us. We quote new destinations regularly. See worldwide shipping for methods, documents and a quote form.

Buying for resale? Container loads for dealers

Importers and dealers can fill a container with the carts their customers want and mix brands and models in one shipment, with one quote for carts, freight and delivery. Multi-unit orders get volume pricing. See wholesale golf carts for dealers.

Before you request a quote

  • Pick your power type. Lithium vs gas compares the two.
  • Decide on seats. See 4-seater vs 6-seater golf carts.
  • Have your delivery address and the number of carts ready.
  • Ask your customs broker or local authority about duties and road rules.
